Hilari, a science teacher at Shasta High School, began her coaching career in 2002 coaching volleyball for the Shasta Wolves. In her 14 years of coaching she has trained all levels of athletes from Freshmen and JV to Varsity levels. In addition to coaching, she is an avid mountain biker and has participated in numerous mountain bike races in the local area as well as national races in Northern California. Hilari is committed to bringing her passion for mountain biking and her coaching skills to develop a high school mountain bike team with the support of Ride Redding. We are stoked to have Hilari’s skills, talent and enthusiasm to grow and support kids in the sport of cycling!
“Mountain biking and riding in general is a true passion of mine, and I strive to instill this passion in the youth I work with. It’s truly a lifelong physical activity that gets kids out in the natural world enjoying beautiful Northern California and learning team skills that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.” - Hilari Freeman
